God knew why

You can make many plans, but
the Lord's purpose will prevail.
Proverbs chapter 19 verse 21.
As you read these stories, you
may be wondering how you can make
a difference in people's lives.
As these literature evangelists do.
The good news is that you don't need to be
a literature evangelist to be used by God.
This story comes from Rose Miranda,
a church member in Sydney who used
to work for the Virgin mobile store.
Every morning as rose went
to work, she would pass a man
who was sitting on the bench.
She had a feeling that he seemed
troubled, but they'd never spoken.
One morning, she decided to give
him a copy of steps to Christ.
She didn't have one with her at
the time, but made sure she had a
copy in her bag the next morning.
Although she was there at the usual time,
the man wasn't sitting on the bench.
Rose wondered why she'd felt
impressed to give him a copy of
steps to Christ when he wasn't there.
As the day went on the delivery man
who came in every day, approached
the entrance of the store.
Once again, rose had a strong impression
that she should give the copy of
steps to Christ, to the delivery man.
Determined to follow God's leading.
She went to the delivery man and
told him that she had something
for him, handing him the book.
She didn't know how he would react.
Although they had developed
a good friendship.
She didn't know what his
spiritual background was.
You are doing the work sister.
He said, what do you mean?
Rose asked in confusion.
I'm a seventh day Adventist too.
He replied, they shared a hug.
It turned out that he had not
attended church in a long time.
Later that day, the man came
back and gave rose a beautiful
set of spirit of prophecy books.
Which now belongs to Concord
seventh day Adventist church.
A Muslim man was working with
me at the time and witnessed the
whole conversation, said rose.
He was really touched by that experience.
From that encounter onwards rose would
message happy Sabbath to the delivery man,
and encourage him to return to church.
As a result of her encouragement, he began
to attend every now and again, once more.
I didn't know why I was impressed to bring
steps to Christ that morning said rose.
But God knew why.
